Tom Ferrell, Chief Executive Officer
Tom has worked as a golf journalist for 15 years. He has
published two books of instruction – Hit Your Second Shot
First, with Marshall Smith; and The Scramblers Dozen: 12 Shots You
Need to Score Like the Pros, with 1999 PGA Teacher of the Year Mike
McGetrick. He has served as editor-at-large for Golf Tips magazine
since 1998, where he currently writes a monthly essay, “Backspin,”
and is also editor-at-large for Colorado AvidGolfer magazine, one
of the country’s top regional publications. Tom has published
articles on travel, course architecture, instruction, player profiles,
business and technology in many leading industry forums, including
Golf Magazine, Golf Digest, Golf Journal, PGA Magazine, Golf for
Women, Golfweek and PGATOUR.com. His writing for Golf Tips garnered
a prestigious International Network of Golf award.
In addition to his work in the golf industry, Tom has held executive
marketing positions at technology companies, including Compatible
Systems, where as director of marketing, he helped position the
company for sale to networking giant Cisco Systems. He also served
as director of corporate communications for MessageMedia, Inc.,
which was acquired in 2001 by DoubleClick.
Dan Bynum, Jr., Chief Production Officer
Dan leads OnTour Media’s video, broadcast and interactive
services. A veteran sports programming producer, Dan has held senior
positions at PGA TOUR Productions and Turner Broadcasting Systems.
He has won numerous awards, and his work aired on ABC, CBS, NBC,
ESPN, CNBC, TBS, Fox Sports International and The Golf Channel.
Dan produced the historic Live@17
webcast, the first live sports broadcast produced exclusively for
the World Wide Web. He developed and launched the first live integrated
“World Feed,” repurposing PGA TOUR telecasts for international
distribution to 153 countries worldwide. Dan served as Coordinating
Producer for the Chrysler Senior Match Play Challenge, an annual
live to tape 15 show series for ESPN. He also served as Executive
Producer of the CBS syndicated show Signature Golf featuring celebrities
such as Samuel L. Jackson and Matt Lauer paired with top PGA Tour
players including Greg Norman and John Daly.
Brent Stewart, Creative Director
Brent has 20+ years experience as an art director and graphic designer, starting his career at The Bloom Advertising Agency in Houston, working on 3M and Exxon. He was hired by Tallant/Yates Advertising in Denver as creative director, working on Hewlett Packard. For the past 15 years Brent has been specializing in golf advertising and marketing, building brands and corporate identity for companies such as McGetrick Golf Academy, Dismal River Golf Club, and OnTour Media.
Brent's work has captured many creative awards regionally and nationally, including two BMA Gold Key Best of Shows and numerous other awards such as the Grand Prix, Addy and ALFIE.
A former collegiate golfer prior to earning his degree in Visual Communications from the University of Texas, Brent’s lifelong love of golf and experience playing some of the best golf courses in the country give him keen insight into golf marketing.
